Here is a card inspired by the my talented friend, Alanna Wharf. She showed a card on last week's SU trip in Fiji using BUBBLE WRAP to add a stamped/embossed background! SO cool!! I loved it so much that I had to come home and make one for myself.
I brayered the background in Pool Party & Sahara Sand ink first (which was a lesson in itself, thanks Alanna for the help!), then stamped the shells & coral. The little circles are the bubble wrap embossed with clear embossing powder, and I added a little bit of ink to make it look more interesting. Such a cool technique - a new world has been opened to me!!
Stamps: By the Tide
Inks: Marina Mist, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Calypso Coral, VersaMark
Papers: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Marina Mist, Pool Party
Misc: Window Frames Framelits, 1" circle punch, Vintage Trinket brad, Naturals 7/16" ribbon, bubble wrap, Clear embossing powder, heat tool, brayer
It's beautiful Denise! You did a great job of it! I was happy to help and to inspire! I've got all kinds of plans for bubble wrap on my to-do list now too! :) Thanks for sharing!
