Spool Christmas Tree
- Sprig punch
- Shaded Spruce cardstock
- Gold glimmer paper
- Skewer, trimmed to about 3"
- Wooden spool
Note: I made this last year when the Shaded Spruce glimmer paper was available.
1. Punch out about 30 sprigs from Shaded Spruce cardstock. Trim to various lengths (longer to shorter). You can use cardstock & glimmer paper, or just sprinkle some glitter on the sprigs.
2. Poke sprig through skewer, starting with larger sprigs. Arrange around skewer to form a Christmas tree.
3. Punch 2 stars (I used gold glimmer paper - not currently in the catalog, so gold foil or any other cardstock will work) and adhere together with top of skewer in the middle.
4. Insert skewer with all the sprigs in the spool, and attach with adhesive if necessary.
NOTE: You can top your tree with anything you like, including ribbon, or a different star than I used.
